Orange-Ulster BOCES recently held its Career and Technical Education Outstanding Students Recognition Dinner for the Class of 2019 and several Middletown High School students were recognized:
Construction Careers Academy Jean Mendoza Ortiz, in the Electrical Construction Technology 2 program. He plans to attend SUNY Orange and pursue a career as an electrical engineer.
Asael Paez, in the HVAC/Plumbing program. He is very motivated to do to work in the field and put his skills to use.
Education Careers Academy Arianna Sicilia, in the Education and Management program. She plans to attend SUNY Orange and pursue a degree in early education. Her goal is to become a kindergarten teacher.
Health Careers Academy Elizabeth Ramos, in the Allied Health program. She plans to attend SUNY Orange and then transfer to a bachelor and become a pediatric nurse.
Arianna Rivera, in the Dental Careers program. She plans to attend college and continue her education to become a dental hygienist.
Transportation Careers Academy Kasean McNealy, in the General Service program. As part of a work-based learning program, he was a student intern at Johnston’s Toyota, Middletown Nissan and Quality Bus Garage.
Visual Arts Careers Academy Avion Mercado, in Digital Filmmaking and Post Production. His future lies in visual arts and entertainment.
