NJROTC annual inspection and awards parade


The Middletown High School NJROTC participated in its 2018 annual inspection and awards parade on Oct. 16 in the school's gymnasium.

The MHS cadet platoons were inspected by highly decorated Commander Jimmie Miller, the NJROTC Area Four Manager who also inspected our NJROTC students in 2016. Later, the students participated in the "Pass in Review" ceremony, followed by an awards ceremony in front of families and friends. Commander Miller also addressed the students, and then the families, praising our stuidents and this program.

Congratulations to the following students, who were recognized for their uniform and military appearance, based on the Commander's inspection: Melody Lockwood, Joseph Downs, Shae-Lynn English, Perlita Landa, Marissa Lewis, Kaila Marine, Destiny Smalls, Jenny Verrier and Lani Anderson. Shae-Lynn English was recognized as Most Outstanding in this category.

Also recognized was the Cadet Staff, led by Cadet Commanding Officer Maria Sanchez. They include Ariel Hernandez, Adrian Ramos, Elizabeth Kinsey, Christian Rivera, Adrian Ramos, Lani Anderson, Victoria Migliori, Alyssa Jennings and Jessica Sanchez. The Line Commanders were Adrian Ramos, Daniel Rivera, Timothy Parker and Christian Rivera.
