Meet Aniston Flynn, a Monhagen eighth-grader.


Her hobbies: “My hobbies include playing softball and volleyball, and hanging out with friends.”

Her inspiration: “My mother, because she is always volunteering and helping out the community.”

Three places she wants to visit: “France, Hawaii and the Bahamas.”

Her music: “I love R&B. My favorite artists are SZA and Brent Faiyaz.”

Her three favorite movies: “‘Missing,’ ‘13 going on 30’ and ‘5 feet apart.’”

Her proudest school moment: “Getting high honor roll two years in a row.”

What people say about Middletown that isn’t true: “That we are bad at sports, and the students here are unintelligent.”

Her greatest accomplishment: “Becoming an NJHS member, and Vice President of Middletown’s Mayor’s Youth Council.”

If she had $1 million: “I would buy a new house for my family and give the rest to my parents.”

What makes her unhappy: “People who think they are better than everybody else, and people who are rude for no reason.”

In 10 years she’ll be: “I will be at a fashion school in New York City saving up money to get an apartment.”
