Meet Dean Lucas, a Twin Towers eighth-grader.


What inspires him and why: “My Mom, because she always finds time to help me and my family, and gets all her work done.”

If he could trade places with someone for one day: “I would trade places with Brian Cashman, and do something with the Yankees.”

Three places he wants to visit: “Italy, Los Angeles and Uganda.”

What is something people say about Middletown that isn’t true: “That every day someone is doing bad things to our schools.”

His ideal day: “Wake up. No school. Then I go hang out with my friends and people aren’t mad at me, and I don’t have to do anything annoying.”

If he had $1 million: “I would be smart with my money and still have fun.”

His proudest school moment: “Getting to play football.”

His greatest accomplishment: “Being in all-accelerated (classes).”

His hidden talent: “The cello.”

On his bedroom walls: “Yankee logos and players.”

In 10 years he’ll be: “I’ll be on the training staff for a sports team.”
