“I am Middletown”

Enjoy this personality profile, which gives people in the Middletown school district a chance to meet and learn about their scholars. These scholars chose their questions, designed to create a mini-profile of their lives.

Abby Nicholson is a Carter fifth-grader who is a National Elementary Honor Society member.

The talent she would most like to have: “Where I could do a bunch of crazy flips. I would be able to do cool stunts, as well.”

Her ideal meal: “Probably pancakes, because of how soft they are. It could be pizza, though, too. Specifically, thick crust pizza.”

Famous people she would invite to dinner: “It would be Skai Jackson, Cameron Boyce, Debby Ryan, Karan Brar and Kevin Chamberlin. They’re the stars of my favorite TV show, ‘Jessie.’”

If she were President: “I would make a law that kids are able to do whatever they want to that adults can do, such as driving, cooking, buying things and getting our own credit cards.”

Three places she would like to visit: “Paris, Disneyland in California, and then probably the Christmas tree in New York City.”

If she could trade places with somebody for one day: “I would choose my friend, because I want to play with her Apple iPad, with her Apple pencil.”

One thing people may not know about her: “I used to be able to make a scary laugh. I used to laugh like that down a stairwell.”

Her favorite part of school: “Lunch and recess, because I can relax and not be worried about school.”

On her bedroom walls: “There are a lot of school pictures I made in fourth grade. I have the drama class certificate, and my honor society paper that I got from the ceremony.”

In 10 years she’ll be: “I would probably work in my own cafe that only serves breakfast, because breakfast is the best meal of the day.”
