NJROTC inspection

Commander Jimmie Miller inspects the Middletown NJROTC

The Middletown High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) had its annual inspection in the school's main gymnasium on November 1. The reviewing officer was visiting Commander Jimmie Miller, who has retired from the United States Navy, and oversees more than 50 NJROTC programs in the Northeast. He has inspected the Middletown NJROTC in previous years.

The inspection was in the morning, followed by the awards parade. Commander Miller also addressed the audience, which was filled by NJROTC families. He also recognized the following Cadets, who had the best overall appearance during inspection: Yadira Balbuena, Cydney Diggs, Allie Magrane, Abigail Rodriguez, Joseph Britto, Glendy Lemus Avalos, Isabella Olarte, Melissa Parker, Sara Calle Alvarado, Genesis Campos, Cassidy-Maye Hogg, Dana Olmos, Tiara Torres and Magali delarosa.

The Line Commanders are Christopher Newton, Gabby Marrero, Raymond Zayas and Magali delarosa.
