    Builders Club (Thursday)

    Advisor: Ms. Blanco (

     Builders Club is an international student-led program providing members with opportunities to perform service, build character and develop leadership. It is open to middle and junior high school students. Clubs are chartered in partnership with a Kiwanis club and a school or community-based organization serving middle or junior high school students.

    Chamber Orchestra (Thursday)

    Advisor: Mrs. Mita (

    (Invitation only) This after school advanced orchestra, meets once a week.  Students in this group will play more advanced music in a variety of styles (including: classical, pop, rock, Broadway).  

    Chamber Singers (Tuesday)

    Advisor: Mrs. Lucas (

     (Invitation only) Chamber Singers is one of our extra-curricular music ensembles. Students from sixth, seventh and eighth grade work together on advanced vocal literature and vocal skills beyond what they are working on / performing within their curricular ensembles.  To participate in Chamber Singers, students must be a member in good standing of either 6th Grade Chorus or Concert Choir.  If a student's class schedule prohibits their participation in a curricular ensemble, exceptions will be considered.  Additionally, students must audition for the director to demonstrate their vocal capabilities and abilities to study more advanced repertoire.

    Computer Workshop  (Monday and Wednesday)

    Advisor: Mr. McPartlan (

     The computer club is open to all students in grades 6 through 8. Together with the advisor, students are able to explore a variety of challenging computer puzzles, games, and learning activities.

    Drama Club (Monday)

    Members of Drama Club will work to develop acting, vocal and dancing techniques as required for a musical production.  

    Jazz Band (Monday)

    Advisor: Ms. Cappa (

    (Invitation only) Jazz Band is an audition-based ensemble, where students are challenged to play music of a different style than they play in concert band. Students play complicated rhythms, have more independence in their parts, and are offered opportunities for improvisation and soloing. The most common instruments found in Jazz Band include saxophone (all), trumpet, trombone, bass, keyboard, and drums. 

    Literary Magazine (Monday & Wednesdays)

    Advisor: Mrs. Bolduc (

     Who loves to read and write? The Twin Towers Literary Magazine is a club designed to create a magazine filled with all genres of literature. All students are invited, but students who love to read, edit and publish become the shining stars. Students learn how to peer edit, proofread and create a magazine filled with poetry and stories written by themselves and their peers. Additionally, literacy-loving students, who stay after regularly, decide what literature we can embark on in our book club this school year. Since avid reading is so linked with talented writing, a Twin Towers book club is a match made in heaven. 

    Math Team/Mid-Hudson Junior High Math League (Wednesdays)

    The Mid-Hudson Junior High Math League includes teams from about 20 different schools in our area. The league is divided into four sections by region and it's open to students in grades 6 - 9. This season our Math Teamwill compete against a team from Minisink . The categories are Speed and Accuracy, Calculators, Geometry, and Proportional Reasoning.

    National Junior Honor Society (Monday)

     (Invitation only) The Twin Towers Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is a club for 8th grade students who have maintained a high average throughout 6th and 7th grade. Students are invited to apply, chosen by a Faculty Council, and inducted at the end of their 7th grade year. Selection is based on five ideals; scholarship, citizenship, leadership, character, and service. National Junior Honor Society members complete service projects throughout the year as well as enjoy social events.

    Unity Club (May 4 and June 3)

     The Unity Club celebrates all forms of diversity. Students are given the opportunity to meet once per month with other students in a friendly, accepting environment. Students are able to engage in discussions and participate in class activities which include approved middle school level books, poems, readings, and films which explore diversity and anti-bullying awareness.

    Yearbook Club (Wednesday)

     The yearbook club produces the yearbook for Twin Towers Middle School.  The club typically runs from November through March. Students take pictures, select layouts, and design pages to include in the book.  They also proofread student pictures, making sure their names match and are spelled correctly.
