We wanted to share that Maple Hill's National Elementary Honor Society will be helping out The Salvation Army this holiday season as Bell Ringers. The kids will be stationed in the Galleria Mall - 2nd Floor (between 110 Grill and Billy Beez). We will be there Thursday, December 7, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday, December 16, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. If you are around the area and would like to stop by and donate to the Salvation Army, we are sure the kids would love seeing familiar faces in the crowd.
Maple Hill hosted a virtual Town Hall meeting August 31. This meeting shared important information and procedures families should know for the opening of the 2023-24 school year.

Lea el mensaje del 18 de agosto del superintendente Creeden sobre el uso de teléfonos celulares durante el año escolar 2023-24:It is a goal of the Enlarged City School District of Middletown to ensure that each student attends school the maximum number of days possible in order to afford each student the opportunity to meet his/her potential. Good attendance and class participation are essential ingredients for academic success. Any absence from class is detrimental to the learning process. Classroom lessons foster and require social interaction, development of effective communication skills, critical thinking, and subject mastery.

The Middletown City School District is providing "Pre-fuel" (breakfast) and "Re-fuel" (lunch) for all scholars in attendance at no cost, because we are utilizing the Community Eligibility Provision in the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act. Our nutrition program, "Middies Meals on the Move," will continue to increase meal accessibility. Our classroom-friendly "Pre-fuel" menu provides well-balanced nutritious meals for each scholar to begin their educational day. Click here for the Food and Nutrition Services webpage.
