Twin Towers Middle School Capital Improvement Project
Twin Towers Middle School opened its doors more than 80 years ago, and is considered the historical icon of the district, as well as the City of Middletown. It opened as the Middletown City School District's new high school, and then, in 1975, was converted to a junior high school. Touting its Gothic architecture and impressive bell towers at each end of the front of the school, it is also one of Middletown's oldest jewels. For long-time community members, and those who return, the building brings back cherished memories. To provide a healthier, safer and engaging environment to meet the changing needs of the scholars, as well as a continued increase in enrollment, the school requires significant renovation, modernizing and repair. Thanks to a positive community vote for this project, the Middletown School District will embark on these improvements over the next five years at Twin Towers. See the project progress.
