New York State Testing Schedule (Grades 3-8)
April 20-21: Grades 3-8 - New York State English Language Arts (ELA) Exam
May 3-4: Grades 3- 8 - New York State Math Exam
May 22-June 2: Grade 8 only - Intermediate-Level Science Test (Performance Test)
June 8: Grade 8 only - Intermediate-Level Science Test (Written Test)

On Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21, scholars in grades 3 through 8 will take the New York State English Language Arts Exam. Please see below for some important reminders:
Arrival and Dismissal Times
Grades 3-5 will arrive at school and be dismissed at their normal times.
Grades 6-8 will be on a modified schedule.
Grades 6-7 will arrive at 7:20 am (they will be offered pre-fuel (breakfast) before testing, but will not be in the building for lunch). Dismissal will take place at 11 a.m.
Grade 8 will arrive at school at 10:30 am (they will not be present for pre-fuel (breakfast), but will be offered lunch). Dismissal will take place at 2:15 pm.
Any scholar requiring additional time will be offered bussing up until 3:30 pm.
Here are some suggestions to help your scholar be successful during testing:Please avoid making appointments for your scholar or other planned absences during the dates of your scholar’s grade level tests/make up dates.
Please ensure your scholar has a good night’s sleep before each test date.
Encourage your scholar to take advantage of our pre-fuel (breakfast) to get a healthy start to the day.
Encourage your scholar(s) to do their best!
Make sure your scholar(s) arrive at school on time.
