About the National Honor Society

  • National Honor Society is a national and prestigious organization that students are selected into at the end of their Junior year. Students must have and maintain a 90 GPA in order to be eligible for selection. All members must uphold the ideas of the organization at all times. Our mission is to promote the ideas of National Honor Society and give back to our local community.

  • National Honors Society's General Meeting

      Our general meetings will be held twice every month where we will discuss our progress on events, fundraising, and our other philanthropic commitments. Executive Meetings will take place prior to the general meetings in order to prepare information which will be provided to each member.

  • Collaborative Space Tutoring

    The National Honor Society welcomes anyone in need of tutoring, Monday through Thursday in the Collaborative Space. All NHS members specialize in all subjects and grade levels. Please reach out to our advisors Ms.Yorman and Ms.Younghans for any further questions.

  • Adopt-a-Family

    With the help of faculty, staff, students, and NHS members, 23 children in Orange County were provided with several outfits, toys, and gift cards. With the additional money, gift cards were distributed to the guidance counselors to hand out to deserving students in need.

  • Wreaths Across America

    The NHS members helped with placing flags on veterans tombstones and honoring veterans in Goshen, NY.
