As you know, there are serious national supply chain issues. These issues have forced us to pivot regularly. Your patience and understanding with these pivots are so valued. As we enter the peak of the shipping season, we have been faced with yet another needed pivot. There is an excess of port congestion impacting inventory availability and our printing services are being negatively impacted by the shipping delays and product availability.
For this reason, the Quarter 1 interim reports will not be printed en masse. These reports will be available to view and download in the BackPack app in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Parents who do not have an account can visit any one of the District's buildings during their office hours and complete a request for a portal account. Please bring a photo ID to verify identity. However, parents can still request printed and mailed copies if they cannot access the Infinite Campus parent portal.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email parent.portal@ecsdm.orgor call 845-326-1190. Below are links to a video and document tutorial on how to access BackPack.
BackPack Written TutorialCommitted to providing a quality education
The Enlarged City School District of Middletown is committed to providing its students with a quality education. To ensure this, a Standards-Based Learning (SBL) curriculum is followed, and academic programs in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 are aligned with New York state standards. Under the guidance of Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Amy Creeden, Coordinator of Literacy Elizabeth Boller and Coordinator of Mathematics Catherine Yaa Yaa Whaley-Williams, students have the opportunity to experience a variety of academic avenues.
Some facts about our program
- The district offers full-day kindergarten, and pre-kindergarten programs.
- Students have the ability to choose from more than 100 tuition-free college course credits during their high school experience.
- Middletown has one of the region's strongest and most competitive Arts in Education (AIE) programs.
