WEdnesday Family Night
WEdnesday Family Night is on November 13, 6-7:30 p.m. at Middletown High School. All K-12 families are welcome! WEdnesday Family Night is a regular ECSDM event with informational sessions important to our families, while also offering the opportunity to mingle with families, teachers, and administrators. Childcare, snacks, and interpretation is available!
This event will feature:
- A presentation from Breaking the Cycle in partnership with the Middletown Police Department.
- For more than 20 years, Breaking the Cycle has brought a message of Nonviolent Conflict Resolution through Forgiveness. Violence affects each of us every day, but it rarely begins with knives and guns—that’s just when it makes the headlines. Mostly, it begins with angry feelings, words, or texts. This assembly emphasizes honest communication and forgiveness as an alternative to conflict. Speakers for the presentation will be Pat and Ann Marie D’Aliso who lost their 16 year old son, Pat, to suicide in 2004. Together they have dedicated their lives to suicide prevention, and share their son’s story to give hope to others. Click here to learn more about Breaking the Cycle.
- A presentation by the Orange County Department of Mental Health.
Look forward to future WEdnesday Family Nights this school year!
