Middletown High School held its third-annual athletics Wall of Fame ceremony on Sept. 13, when seven individuals and one relay team were among the Class of 2025 inductees.

Congratulations to Wayne Beam (MHS graduating class of 1980), Tom Clarke (Class of 1959), Steve Garland (Class of 1995), Kendrick Ray (Class of 2012), Sharon (Russell) Parr (Class of 1986), Doug Spelman (Class of 1995) and Diane Wanser.

The 2011 4x400 track relay team consisted of Mel Mosley, Manny Mosley, Web Pierre, Shakoy Burton, Adam Abdur-Rahman and Darin Brown.

They were all honored in the Wall of Fame lobby near the MHS main gymnasium, with about 200 people at the engaging ceremony. Video of the 2011 relay team's national championship was shown, with Mel Mosley coming from fifth place in the final lap to win. Kendrick Ray is playing professional basketball in Greece, but was able to deliver a taped message to family and friends in attendance in Middletown.

Following the ceremony, inductees were recognized prior to the start of the Middies’ football game against Warwick.
