Concluding Computer Science Week, William A. Carter hosted the K-12 "Sip and Code" event on Thursday, December 5. The event promised all sorts of coding activities including Bee Bots, Pharrell Musical Coding, and Find the Number, with refreshments like hot chocolate and an assortment of cookies.

Additional activities included operating a mobile robot and playing a computer game coded by 8th Grader Bryce Terwilliger, who participated in the Coding Competition on Wednesday. MarioKart was also set up for the scholars to play. Despite the chilly weather, Carter's cafeteria was bustling with scholars and families looking for an educational, fun time. Thank you to those who participated in all of the events this week to support our growing computer science programs!
