Middletown junior Sasha Henesy's terrific junior tennis season ended with a top-16 finish in New York on October 27 at the state public high school championships in Flushing, Queens.
Sasha won her first match in straight sets at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, but then lost in straight sets to one of the top seeds in the tournament and was eliminated.
In the weeks heading up to this event, Sasha Henesy won her first Section 9 championship, and her second straight OCIAA title. Congratulations, Sasha, on a terrific season!
