Dear MHS Families,

We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer! As we get ready for the new school year, our team at Middletown High School is thrilled to welcome all of our scholars—new and returning—back to school. It's set to be a legacy-worthy year!

This year, we are continuing our staggered start approach to the opening of high school. This ensures a smooth and successful transition for every scholar. By gradually introducing scholars to their new classrooms,teachers, support staff, and peers, we provide ample time and guidance for all young people to settle in comfortably. This approach also offers the chance for everyone to meet their support teams and receive any additional assistance they might need.

We understand starting high school can be a big transition, especially for our 9th graders, and we are committed to making this process as welcoming and supportive as possible. At the same time, we are equally dedicated to ensuring that all scholars, across every grade level, receive the support they need to begin the school year with confidence and excitement.
