To the Middletown City School District Community,
The Enlarged City School District of Middletown has been my home, my purpose, and my calling for 24 years. I return to our work with the same passion and dedication that has guided every year I have served this community, ready to lead and committed to the work ahead. The past several months have only deepened my commitment to this district and to every person in it.
Middletown is full of extraordinary people. Educators who show up every single day for our students. Support staff who know our scholars by name and care deeply about their success. Administrators and leaders at every level who are committed to excellence. From Teaching and Learning to Buildings and Grounds, Food Service to Transportation, Safety and Security to Student Support Services, Business Operations to Central Office, every department and every team plays an essential role in supporting our scholars and strengthening our district. These dedicated professionals are building something remarkable here. They are creating a legacy, one brick at a time. I join them in this work with clarity, purpose, and my whole heart.
As we look ahead, there is meaningful work in front of us. We are in the critical stages of building our school budget, and I look forward to working alongside the Board of Education and our community to ensure a plan that reflects our students’ needs and our district’s priorities. In the months ahead, we will also celebrate the accomplishments of our students and the continued progress taking place across our schools.
To our students, you are the reason we are all here. To our families, thank you for your trust and partnership. To our staff, thank you for your tireless dedication. And to this community, after 24 years, thank you for being my home.
To our community partners, volunteers, and local leaders who invest in our students alongside us, your partnership means everything.
I remain focused on our students, our staff, our families, and the future we continue to build together.
With gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead,
Superintendent, Amy Creeden
