NYS Testing continues May 7-8

New York State testing for scholars in Grades 3-8 will continue with the Mathematics assessment on Tuesday, May 7, and Wednesday, May 8.

This test is administered once a year each spring, and is completed on a computer. It is untimed. Accommodations are provided for ELL and scholars with a 504 plan or IEP. 

Middle school will follow a special schedule for ELA and Math testing
Grades 6-7 will arrive at 7:20 a.m. and be dismissed by 11 a.m.
Grade 8 will arrive at 10:30 a.m., and will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m.
Bus transportation is available for those who ride the bus.

Scholars in Grade 3-5 will arrive on a normal schedule, and the testing will occur at the beginning of the day. Dismissal will not be affected.

The Science exam will be given Monday, May 13, to scholars in Grades 5 and 8 - but arrival and dismissal will not be affected at either level.

Please ensure your scholar has a good night sleep before each test date, and encourage them to take advantage of our Pre-Fuel breakfast to get a healthy start to the day. Encourage your scholar to do their best, and make sure they arrive on time.
