News Writing Class Learns Video Production

Scholars in the Mount Saint Mary News Writing class at Middletown High School are in the process of filming video report segments. The last couple of weeks have been spent writing news scripts and storyboarding the videos, and now they are filming and editing their segments.
Most of these stories were created from the scholars' interests and range from repairing McDonald's ice cream machines to Peanut the Squirrel. While this first round of video reports is on a variety of topics, the scholars will be creating news videos focused on Middletown High School toward the end of the marking period.
