Monhagen Principal Radogna's latest message
Monhagen Families:
Picture day is approaching!
Just a reminder that this weekend is a three day weekend and school is not in session on Monday.
Although next week is a short week, it will be a busy one. Wednesday the 16th, is picture day. 7th and
8th grade students will be scheduled to have their pictures taken during their Social Studies class. 6th
grade scholars will have pictures during 5th period class.
The 16th is also Unity Day. We are encouraging (but not requiring) students to wear Orange to represent kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.
On Friday, October 18th, there will be a schoolwide assembly as we close out Hispanic Heritage Month. The celebration will take place during the day in the morning.
The following week, on Tuesday, October 22nd, Monhagen Middle School will host our first PTO/Town
Hall Meeting for parents this year. All are invited and encouraged to attend. At the meeting we plan to
share out the PTO bylaws, formalize membership for newcomers and discuss upcoming events in which volunteers may be needed.
