The Middletown varsity football team will play the Monroe-Woodbury/Pine Bush winner for the Section 9 Class AA championship at 6 p.m. on November 15 at Kingston's Dietz Stadium.
This Friday's scheduled semifinal home game against Newburgh was forfeited to Middletown and will not take place. Middletown will not be playing this weekend, and moves into the championship game.
