The Enlarged City School District of Middletown will now be closed on Tuesday, May 27, for all scholars and staff, after the calendar change was approved by the Board of Education at the April 24 meeting.
The BOE acted on Superintendent Creeden’s recommendation, which came because the District did not use all of its emergency days, and is on track to meet the New York State Education Department requirements for days AND hours for the 2024-25 school year.
