Middletown Community Experienced Our Programs

The Middletown schools community had the chance to “Experience Our Programs” during a great Friday night at Middletown High School.

This annual event featured interactive experiences for all grade levels on every floor in the building, as well as the work of K-12 scholars.

There were technology and engineering activities at the basement level, along with our award-winning NJROTC program. Guests were able to experience our robotics program, engineering, STEM, and the growing eSports program.

The district’s art program was on display, as always, in the theater lobby - and also moved this year to the senior cafeteria, where scholar music performances were also enjoyed. The theater also featured performances by different acts, including our award-winning Step dance team.

The library media center had a humanities focus, spotlighted by a “performance cafe” where middle school and high school students read and performed original speeches, poems and narratives. There was an escape room, and our community was able to enjoy our state-of-the-art television studio.

English as New Learners were featured on the second floor with a variety of engaging presentations and activities, as well as a performance by our growing Mariachi band.

Science and Mathematics, as always, were the theme of the third-floor newer classroom, as well as the beautiful collaborative space. Our community could see our scholars in the Middie Triage Clinic, Hematology Lab, and the Dissector’s Laboratory.

All in all, it was a well-attended, enjoyable evening, and we look forward to doing it again next year.
