"Middie Museum" Features the Suffrage Movement

Three female scholars look at a cards featuring famous Suffragists at the Middie Museum

The MHS Social Studies Department, in collaboration with the Library Media Center, transformed the library project room into the "Middie Museum."

For the month of November, the Middie Museum featured the Suffragists Movement and Women's Right to Vote. Museum panels were borrowed from the Southeastern New York Library Resource Council and Mrs. Luba and Mrs. Londrigran designed supporting resources and a scavenger hunt for scholars to complete when visiting the museum.

The Social Studies Department and Library Media Center have many more learning experiences planned for our high school scholars throughout the year. Stay tuned!
