MHS Scholastic Art Award winners
Congratulations to Middletown High School’s Paloma Desrosiers, Jenny Lin and Theressa Vernet for winning a Gold Key for their work in the 2024-25 Regional Scholastic Art Awards.
Paloma, who is a junior, won her Gold Key - the highest award available - in the Digital Art category. She also picked up a Silver Key in Digital Art, one of 17 pieces of work of MHS scholars that received this designation.
Jenny, a senior, received her Gold Key in the Architecture and Industrial Design category. Theressa, who is a freshman, won her Gold Key in Digital Art.
Middletown also had 27 pieces receive Honorable Mention, and 174 total works submitted.
The Gold and Silver Key winners will be honored February 7 at the Studley Theater on the SUNY New Paltz campus, and their work will be on display at the Fine Arts Rotunda Building.
