MHS grad Jorge Vega giving students "Mindset Makeover"

Middletown High School graduate Jorge Vega today brought his program "The Mindset Makeover: Becoming A PRO," to MHS and spoke with freshmen and sophomores. He will speak with the juniors and seniors tomorrow, followed by trips in the coming days to Monhagen and Twin Towers middle schools.

His presentations are high-energy, interactive, and deeply personal. Jorge blended relatable storytelling of his time as a difficult MHS student who didn't make wise choices, with evidence-based tools, and offered students practical exercises they can implement immediately.

This interactive and transformational presentation is designed to empower students to recognize the direct connection between their mindset, emotions, and life outcomes.

By the end of each session, students will:

*Understand the critical role of thoughts in shaping emotions, behaviors, and outcomes.

*Learn the basics of Social Emotional Intelligence and its real-world applications.

*Discover the impact of perspective and internal dialogue during challenges and setbacks

*Gain practical strategies for emotional regulation, mindset shifts, and personal resilience

*Be inspired to activate the greatness within and take responsibility for their growth journey.
