Letter from Acting Superintendent Adoma
Dear Middletown Families,
Autumn is officially here with the cooler temperatures and leaves changing colors. With the change in season we wanted to remind families of several upcoming events including Halloween expectations:
Autumn Craft Fair - Saturday, October 25 (tomorrow) from 9 AM - 4 PM: The Autumn Craft Fair will be held at Middletown High School in the gymnasium. Proceeds will support our athletics programs.
District Fall Festival - Wednesday, October 29 from 4:30 PM - 7 PM: The District Fall Festival will feature our annual Trunk or Treat. Additional activities will include a sensory-friendly area, face painting and other family-friendly fun. The event will be held at the Board of Education parking lot and Middletown High School.
Halloween - October 31: This is a regular school day for all scholars. While we know this day can generate a lot of excitement, for safety reasons, costumes may not be worn by scholars and staff during the school day. Additionally, we ask that scholars and families not bring in candy or other treats to share at school.
Senior Recognition at Varsity Football Game - October 31 at 6 PM: Similar to the school day, costumes, masks, props, inflatables or any items that cover the face will not be permitted at the game. The no bag policy will still be in effect.
Superintendent's Conference Day - Tuesday, November 4: There is no school for scholars on this day. All of our staff will be participating in districtwide professional learning during this day.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Have a nice weekend!
Sincerely,
Camille Adoma
