Food Services Receive Training

In the pursuit of continuous improvement in the quality of meals in our school district, the Food Service Department participated in a training session on July 24, 2025.

The Regional Roots: Culinary Training to Enhance School Meals with Local Foods program is a collaborative effort between the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Harvest NY. The Food Service Department was taught new techniques by Brigaid and NYSED trainers, utilizing locally sourced ingredients procured by CCE Harvest NY. The program was tailored to the department's equipment and the needs of our scholars.
