Elementaries participate in World Read Aloud Day

Last week, Middletown elementary schools were among those who joined the millions of scholars around the world in celebrating World Read Aloud Day.

Since 2010, World Read Aloud Day has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience and read aloud. This event is celebrated annually in more than 170 countries, and is about bringing people together through the shared connection of reading aloud.
