Congratulations to Middletown High School seniors Eden Lugo and Noopur Patel, who were selected Thursday night as scholar representatives on the Board of Education for the 2025-26 school year.
They will be sworn in and celebrated at the August 21 meeting, having already represented our district earlier this week during Governor Kathy Hochul's visit. Eden and Noopur are shown in these photos as panelists for Gov. Hochul's round table discussion about cell phone free environments.
They also spoke later with our Governor, along with recent graduate Norma Avila (in the white top and red pants). Norma was the scholar BOE member last year.
