Congratulations to D.J. Aviles, who picked up his 100th career wrestling victory on January 8 - and is the 20th athlete in school history to reach that milestone.
D.J., who is a junior and defending Section 9 champion, has a career record of 100-20 - including a 24-1 record this season. Middletown beat Warwick 40-21 and moved up to 12th from 15th in the New York state rankings.
