Denise Romero is the new Board of Education President, becoming the first Hispanic female to hold that position in Middletown school district history.

Ms. Romero, who is the AVP Community Impact & Member Experience at Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, previously served as the BOE Vice-President. 

She is also the creator of our Middletown’s Diamonds and Pearls program. This program empowers and inspires young women in grades 6-12, emphasizing growth, positive communication, and creating enduring experiences. Ms. Romero also serves on the district’s Policy Committee, and is the BOE liaison for Twin Towers Middle School.
