Constitution Day at MHS

Three students with the Declaration of Independence

From September 16 to 20, MHS scholars celebrated school spirit and civic pride for Constitution Day and Civics Week! Constitution Day is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is observed on September 17 to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787. All week, scholars learned about the importance of civic engagement and their roles as active citizens in our community through various activities and learning experiences in their Social Studies courses.
