"Breaking the Cycle" assembly coming to MHS

Ann Marie D'Aliso presenting

There will be presentations of "Breaking the Cycle," a program that shares personal stories of overcoming conflict through forgiveness. After recent programs at Twin Towers and Monhagen Middle School, they will be held at Middletown High School in December.

Grades 9-12 High School Scholars - School Day Assembly Program:

Date: Thursday, December 12, 2024 & Friday, December 13, 2024
Time: School Day
Location: Middletown High School

Summary: Hashim Garrett, Charles Williams, and Randi Kelder, presenters with Breaking the Cycle, will share stories on the interconnected issues of gang violence, mental health, and substance abuse among youth. The presentation emphasizes recognizing warning signs, seeking help, and fostering supportive environments. The stories are a window into the experiences our young people are facing. These stories promote awareness and resilience. Resources for support in our school and community will be provided to empower young people to make positive choices and break the cycle of violence and addiction.

Audience: All high school scholars will be scheduled to attend one assembly program

As always our support staff is available to anyone who might have a difficult time navigating the content presented during the program or as a result of the program.

If you would like to opt your young person out of  their building's scheduled assembly program please contact your young person's administrator as outlined below:
