Congratulations to long-time Board of Education member John Perrino and BOE President Edwin Estrada, who were honored Wednesday night as part of the Mid-Hudson School Study Council's annual meeting and awards celebration at North Rockland at Thiells.
Mr. Estrada and Mr. Perrino, who also has served as BOE President at Middletown, received Distinguished Board Service awards. Mr. Perrino also received the prestigious Golden Apple Award, given to those who have 50-plus years in the Education field.
We congratulate both, and thank them for their service to the Middletown school community.
