Autism Acceptance Spirit Week March 31-April 4

April is World Autism Month and April 2nd is World Autism Day. The theme for World Autism Month this year is Celebrating Differences, encouraging recognition of the unique strengths and perspectives of autistic individuals as well as to "light it up blue".

Please join us in wearing your favorite blue Middie gear in honor of World Autism Day on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Monday, March 31 Magnificent Mind Monday Let’s celebrate how awesome it is that all of our minds work in different ways by wearing a fun hat!
Tuesday, April 1 Neurodiversity Tuesday There is beauty in the spectrum of all human minds. Wear rainbow or tie-dye colors.
Wednesday, April 2 Minds of all Kinds ROCK Wednesday! Join us in celebrating minds of all kinds dressed like a rockstar!
Thursday, April 3 Sensory Friendly Thursday Dress in your most comfortable clothes to support your sensory needs.  
Try to use as much natural light in your classroom instead of fluorescents as possible.
Friday, April 4 Middie Pride Friday Celebrate the minds of all of our Middie scholars.
