Administrative appointments at BOE meeting
There were two administrators appointments, including one at the district level, at the August 14 Board of Education meeting at Middletown High School.
 
Julie Dominguez-Post was appointed the new Director for Bilingual, ENL and World Languages at the Board of Education meeting on August 14. She is replacing retired Linda Rivera Bradt, effective August 15. Mrs. Dominguez Post has been serving as the district’s Assistant Director of Special Education.
 
Suphora Newsome was appointed as a Dean of Students at Middletown High School, and will work under Cohort Principal Karina Acevedo with the incoming freshman class (Cohort 2025). Mrs. Newsome has been with the district the last two decades, with most of that time - and recently - as a Transitional Bilingual Math Teacher at Twin Towers. She will begin her new position on August 25.
