Sedii Agor led the Middletown winners at 2025-26 Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, picking up a total of six awards in three different categories.

Sedii won a Gold Key - the highest level of award - in the Experimental Photography category. She was one of Middletown’s 13 Gold Key winners, but also added five Silver Key awards. Four of those awards came in the Photography category, the fifth in the Drawing category. NIne other Middletown artists received Silver Key awards.

Three Middletown artists won a Gold Key and Silver Key - Alejandro Farias (Graphic Design), Lizet Lopez Hidalgo (Digital Painting, Drawing and Collage) and Justin Stewart (Digital Painting, Drawing and Collage).

The following Middletown artists also won Gold Key awards: Ellahope Bobea (Photography), Rudy Cherry (Photography), Jeremiah Farmer (Illustration), Evaliz Lopez (Digital Painting, Drawing and Collage), Emory Mays (Drawing), Junghyun Park (Drawing), Ta’Shaun Pelham (Graphic Design), Lya Roldan (Digital Painting, Drawing and Collage) and Paloma Zenteno (Digital Painting, Drawing and Collage).

The following Middletown artists also won Silver Key awards: Enyo Awoonor (Illustration), Aldo Campos (Digital Painting, Drawing and Collage), Sabrina Diaz (Sculpture), Ashley Feliciano (Graphic Design), Henry Sanchez (Digital Painting, Drawing and Collage) and Allyson Velazquez (Drawing).

Middletown also had 35 works receive Honorable Mention awards among the 304 pieces submitted by the District. The Gold and Silver winners will be honored on February 6 at SUNY New Paltz, and their work will be on display at a gallery in the Fine Arts Rotunda Building.
