2024-25 Budget Vote is TODAY

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Enlarged City School District of Middletown voters will be asked to consider two propositions.

The first is the 2024-25 school budget of $262,672,637, which was prepared with the same diligence, respect and care as always for your tax dollar - and keeping all hard-working staff and top-notch, supportive programming in place. The proposed budget calls for a 1% tax levy increase, which is under the New York State mandated tax cap.

The second is to add a high school senior to serve as an ex-officio, non-voting school board member, as the Board of Education continues to seek input from its school community. This position will allow a Middletown High School senior student to serve a one-year term that begins July 1 of the current year and ends on June 30 of the following year.
