The mission of the Enlarged City School District of Middletown, Food & Nutrition Department is to provide nourishing, culturally diverse, well-balanced meals that are easily accessible and support the health and academic success of our scholars. We are committed to promoting healthy eating habits, sourcing fresh local ingredients, and fostering an inclusive and supportive dining environment. Our dedicated team strives to provide exceptional service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and nutrition education for our Middletown community. Together, we aim to fuel the minds and bodies of our scholars, empowering them to thrive and excel.

The Middletown City School District is proud to offer "Pre-fuel" (breakfast) and "Re-fuel" (lunch) to all scholars attending at no charge, because of our participation in the Community Eligibility Provision under the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act. Our classroom-friendly "Pre-fuel" menu provides balanced, nutritious meals to kickstart each scholar's educational journey.  

Through our nutrition initiative, "Middies Meals on the Move," we're dedicated to enhancing meal accessibility.

Various Smart Snack a la carte items, such as frozen novelties, fresh campus baked cookies, are available for purchase. Parents have the option to deposit funds into their scholars account via the INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT PORTAL online, or they can pay in cash or by check at the registers. All transactions, including purchases made by staff members, additional meals, and individual items, must be settled in full at the time of purchase.
