Mission
The purpose of the Middletown City School District Athletic Wall of Fame is to recognize those individuals who, through participation, support, and/or lifetime achievements, have made outstanding contributions to Middletown Athletics. These individuals have helped bring recognition, honor, distinction and excellence to the Middletown City School District and its interscholastic athletic programs. The Hall’s purpose is to recognize the accomplishments of the inductees and to develop a deep pride in our rich athletic traditions. These role models will forever serve to exemplify Middletown’s commitment to academics, the community and athletic excellence.
Another goal of our Wall of Fame is to improve the quality of life in the City of Middletown and Town of Wallkill by honoring past sports heroes, providing a means of focusing attention on our rich history and serving to encourage Middletown’s youth to strive for their full potential as athletes and citizens.
We adopted a theme: “Honoring our Glorious Past while Inspiring our Bright Future.”
The Middletown Athletic Wall of Fame’s mission serves as an essential component in the growth of our community.
