Mrs. Ricci was born and raised in Newburgh, NY. She is a first-generation college student having been the first in her family to attend a four year college. From the time she was in third grade, Mrs. Ricci knew she wanted to be a teacher. To pursue that dream, she graduated from the College of Saint Rose in Albany with a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood and Special Education. Two years later, she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Literacy from Mount Saint Mary College.
Although she is not currently teaching, Mrs. Ricci found her enthusiasm for working with high school students as an Admissions Counselor at Mount Saint Mary College. There she guided high school seniors throughout the application and decision making process as well as running their Student Ambassador program and reviewing college applications. Mrs. Ricci joined the College and Career Center as a College and Career Advisor in September 2018. She brings with her the insider knowledge and industry “secrets” in regards to what college Admissions Counselors are looking for and the necessary information to submit a quality application. Mrs. Ricci has a passion for student success whether it be in wanting to attend college or pursuing a different path to a career. What she loves most about Middletown High School is the students tenacity and goal oriented drive.
When she is not at work, Mrs. Ricci spends every minute she can with her husband, 1 year old daughter and two dogs.

Lisa Parker is a graduate of SUNY Cortland where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading Education. After graduating from Cortland she joined the Admissions Office as a College Admissions Counselor. She was part of the SUNY Cortland admissions team for over 10 years. As an Admission Counselor Mrs. Parker visited different high schools throughout New York and reviewed college applications.

Although she was unsure of her college goals upon high school graduation, Ms. Sarvis realized her passion for education and students after receiving her Associate’s Degree in Humanities & Social Sciences She then transferred to SUNY New Paltz where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and finalized her college career at Long Island University to earn a Master's Degree in School Counseling.
Ms. Sarvis joined the College & Career Center as the Financial Aid Advisor in January 2018. Prior to Middletown High School, she worked as a Financial Aid Advisor at The Culinary Institute of America. While working at The CIA, she assisted students and their families through the financial aid process, reviewed FAFSA applications, coordinated the off campus federal work study opportunities for students and obtained a wealth of knowledge related to financial aid.
Among education, her passions include horseback riding, spending time with her family and hiking.
