The time for inclement weather is upon us and we would like to remind everyone of the district’s protocol for weather-related closings and delays (visit the district webpage and/or Facebook page for weather related closings). In addition, we continue to utilize local media channels to announce delayed openings and closings.
If school is closed, due to inclement weather, the day is a non-instructional day, whether or not your child is learning remotely. Students are not expected to login to the classrooms, and will not be assigned additional classwork on snow days (non-instructional days).
In the event of a delay, elementary school students should log in later than they normally would (depending on the type of delay - two or three hour), and their teachers will adjust their schedule accordingly.
Middle school and high school students will begin their school day on a delayed schedule (two or three hour), bell schedules can be found on the Emergency Closings and Delays section on each school's webpage of the website.

This snow-day plan is fluid and subject to revision. If there are any changes we will promptly communicate changes/revisions to the school community. Please note, this information regarding delays and closings is connected to the current period of pause.
Thank you for your support and understanding. Closing school is never an easy decision; however, the safety of our students and staff will always be utmost on our mind.
