Students learn ABCs of getting along
Truman Moon News ON Aug 16, 2010
First-graders at Truman Moon Primary Center recently took part in the ABCs of Getting Along Workshop. The workshop, led by Barbara Driscoll, of the Dispute Resolution Center, discussed the topic of anger and examined some healthy ways to control it. Students explored appropriate means to handle peers as part of the workshop, which utilized songs, poems, skits, and puppets to engage students and encourage participation. This is the third year the workshop has been offered to students thanks to the Safe Schools/Healthy Students (SS/HS) grant.
