Scholastic Bowl

This team engages in academic competitions with other schools throughout Orange County. There are three major avenues of competition:

• Research-based: Questions are asked to students, and using library resources, the students answer. Answers are submitted to the administrators of the program and the team/s with all correct questions win.

• Internet-based: Teams compete against others on the Web across the country.

• Head to head matches: Teams compete against others in the Northeastern United States.

Students are selected for the team by participating in intramural Scholastic Bowl and students are selected for their ability to answer questions correctly and their assertive demeanor during team play.
