Case for this year: Chris Cross vs. Randy Porter

Objectives:

1. To allow students the opportunity to learn about law.

2. To teach students about the judicial system (including areas such as Federal Rules of Evidence and Procedure), with the hope that students will be able to utilize this knowledge in a future career such as a profession in law.

3. To develop analytical and critical thinking skills, promote teamwork and leadership, and enhance communication skills.

4. To provide members with the opportunity to compete in the New York State Mock Trial tournament.
