High School has announced its honor graduates for the Class of
2008.

Samantha Allen
plans to attend
SUNY Oneonta,
major in Elementary Education with a concentration in
Spanish. While at MHS activities participated in
included: Wind Ensemble, Varsity Soccer and Track,
Senior Enrichment, Marching Band, Key Club, National
Honor Society, Ski Club, School Newspaper, and Camp
Counselor.
Alice Chu
plans to
attend NYU and major in Science.
While at MHS activities participated in included:
National Honor Society, Key Club, Math Team, National
Art Honor Society, Senior Enrichment, Science Club,
John's Hopkins University for
Talented Youth China Trip studying Chinese and Western
Medicine, US Air Force Recognition for Math and Science.
Doris Chu
plans to attend Syracuse University and major in
International Relations/Political Science. While at MHS
activities participated in included: Battalion Commander of NJROTC, Military Order of World
Wars Award for Merit, National
Honor Society, Sabor Latino, Key Club, and Senior
Enrichment.
Amelia Fish
plans to attend Bucknell University and major in
Mechanical Engineering. While at MHS activities
participated in included: National Honor Society, Senior
Enrichment, Key Club, Math Team, Student Council
President, Middletown High School Scholar Athlete,
Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Women’s
Chorale, Chamber Singers, Drama Club, Varsity Club,
Soccer, Golf, and Ski Club.
Matthew Gewing
plans to attend Cornell University and major in
Atmospheric Sciences. While at MHS activities
participated in included: National Honor Society, Senior
Enrichment, Key Club, Math Team, Scholastic Bowl Team,
Senior Enrichment, Varsity Club, Marching Band, Jazz
Band, Wind Ensemble, and the Cross-Country, Swimming,
and Track teams.
Rachel Jessup
plans to attend SUNY Oswego and major in
Psychology. While at MHS activities
participated in included: Key Club, National Honor
Society,
Marching
Band, Wind Ensemble,
and Senior Enrichment.
Laura Johnson
plans to attend Cornell University and major in
Mechanical Engineering. While at MHS activities
participated in included: New Vision program, National
Honor Society, Scholastic Bowl, Key Club, Senior
Enrichment, and Math Team, Jazz and Marching
Band, Varsity Tennis team, Varsity Golf team, and Ski
Club.
Amanda Lubniewski
plans to attend University of Buffalo and major in
Liberal Arts.
While at MHS activities
participated in included:
National Honor Society, Drama Club, Key Club, Literary
Magazine, Wind Ensemble, Varsity Tennis Team, Marching
Band, and Ski Club.
Ioana Marinova
plans to attend George Washington University and her
career goal is to work in the medical field. While at
MHS activities participated in included: Key Club,
Marching Middies, Wind Ensemble, Sabor Latino dance
group, Student Council, Secretary of Senior Class,
Scholastic Bowl, National Honor Society, and Senior
Enrichment.
David McCarey
plans to attend Cornell University and major in
Mechanical Engineering.
While at MHS activities participated in included:
National Honor Society, Senior Enrichment, Scholar
Athlete 2007-2008 Award, Baseball, Basketball, Indoor
Track, Cross Country, Ski Club, and Math Team.
Jenna McCarey
plans to attend SUNY
Oneonta and major in education. While at MHS activities
participated in included: Varsity Soccer, Varsity
Softball, Band, Marching Middies, Student Council, Wind
Ensemble, Ski Club, and Academy of Finance.
Denise Munoz
plans to attend SUNY Orange and major in Nursing. While
at MHS activities participated in included: Senior
Enrichment.
Victoria Reagan
plans to attend
University of Connecticut and major in Accounting. While
at MHS activities participated in included: Academy of
Finance and National Honor Society.
Bisma Sheikh
plans to attend CUNY City College and major in
Pre-Med/Psychiatry. While at MHS activities participated
in included: New Visions program, National Honor
Society, Senior Enrichment, Math Team, Key Club, Science
Club, volunteer at religious school.
Ellie Stover
plans to attend R.I.T. and major in Biomedical
Photographic Communications. While at MHS activities
participated in included: Senior Enrichment, Drama,
National Honor Society, Jazz Band, Marching Band,
Concert Band, Literary Club, Newspaper Club, and Wind
Ensemble.
Luke Stover
plans to attend Clarkson University and major in
Aeronautical Engineering.While at MHS activities
participated in included: Theater, Concert Band,
Newspaper, National Honor Society, and Track.
Amy Tanzillo
plans to attend S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook and major in Art
History & Criticism. While at MHS activities
participated in included: Concert Band, Wind Ensemble,
Marching Band, Ski Team, Ski Club, and Track.
Julia Warren
plans to attend S.U.N.Y. Plattsburgh. Her major is
undecided to date. While at MHS activities participated
in included: Indoor & Outdoor Track, National Honor
Society, National Art Honor Society, Jazz Band, Marching
Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Scholastic Bowl,
Soccer Team, and Art Club.
Ashley Witt
plans to attend S.U.N.Y. Oneonta and major in Spanish
and Education. While at MHS activities participated in
included: Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Key Club, Senior
Enrichment, and National Honor Society.
