Mechanicstown is committed to the philosophy that each person has an obligation to others, and in return receives from others. A smile, a handshake, a kind word and caring people all foster positive feelings. At Mechanicstown, students learn to appreciate and accept the needs and talents of each other.

Serving students in grades 2-5, the school is committed to helping children learn in an environment where they can feel valued. Every parent, employee and volunteer joins together with our students to create an extended family atmosphere of sharing and caring. These positive feelings are carried throughout the school day and into the community. Mechanicstown also houses the Pre-K program for the Middletown City School District.
