Students read more than 2,000 books
Students in Mrs. O'Boyle's first grade class at Chorley Elementary School were recently challenged to read as many books out of school as possible. After all reading logs were tallied, students read more than 2,000 books. Way to go!
Schools launch two-way bilingual program
Middletown elementary schools are trying something new: a two-way bilingual program that will put a 50-50 mix of English-and Spanish-speaking students together in the classroom so that all the kids can learn both languages. Click here to read more.
